Dr Ailina Ismail

Dr Ailina is a fellow of the RACGP, and practices general conventional medicine with regards to Women’s and Children’s health, and General Adult Medicine. I also hold a Diploma in Dermatology (Australian Institute of Dermatology). I have special interest in Nutritional Medicine and Functional Gut Issues, suspected Auto Immune Diseases especially with regards to Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, hormonal and weight and cardiometabolic problems not well controlled with conventional approaches. I also sub specialised in the Biobalance approach pioneered by the late Dr. Carl Pfeiffer and by Dr. William Walsh which is a comprehensive biochemical assessment to identify chemical imbalances in the brain and correct them with advanced complementary nutritional treatment. It covers a range of disorders such as behavioural disorders, ADD, ADHD, learning disorders , Autism, PANDAs and PANS as well as mental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. Functional Medicine fees may defer from general Medicare Billings.
