Danielle has been working in Australia for over 10 years, completing nursing studies in the UK. Danielle has extensive experience in emergency care and acute medicine. Completed further studies in the following:

  • implanon (insertion/removal)
  • wound care
  • sexual health and contraception
  • cervical screening
  • immunisation

Danielle has recently completed further training to upskill to a Nurse Practitioner.

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse with the experience, expertise and authority to diagnose and treat people of all ages with a variety of acute or chronic health conditions. As NPs have completed additional university study at Master’s degree level, they are the most senior and independent clinical nurses in our health care system.

Nurse Practitioners are capable of providing high quality, patient centred care, utilizing advanced skills, education and autonomy to deliver evidence based care. Responsibilities include assessment, management, diagnostics, prescribing and direct referrals to make a difference in patient’s lives through innovative and flexible healthcare delivery.
