Flu season is here again!

An annual flu vaccine can prevent influenza and its complications and is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over. We are now being supplied with limited influenza (flu) vaccinations in the clinic.

The influenza vaccine is free under the National Immunisation Program for:

  • People aged 65 years and over
  • Children aged between 6 months and 5 years old
  • Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people
  • People who have certain medical conditions

To check if you are eligible for a free vaccination, book in to see one of our doctors or nurses who can check, or provide you with a vaccination prescription if you do not meet the criteria. Please check with the clinic before you book an appointment to ensure we have stock available.
